Toddler Group

Our Toddler Group, is a taste of what our Village Playgroup has to offer. Most importantly, it is a time for parents and toddlers to meet up, have fun and form friendships that will hopefully last through school and beyond. The age range, in general, is from birth to 3 years.

The Toddler Group is held each Wednesday from 9.30am until 12noon, just drop in at a time that suits you. Bridget is our Toddler Group helper and sets the room up prior to 9.30am, makes refreshments and helps with activities. To help cover the cost of the hall hire, electricity and refreshments, a small fee per session of £2.00 per adult and first child and 50p extra for any other child over 6 months.

We now include a short singing time and craft activity each week, the morning running roughly as follows:

9.30am Drinks for parents, children free play 10.30am Song time 10.40am Drinks and biscuit/fruit for children and drinks for parents. 11am Craft activity

Once a month, the Family Centre from Crediton, visit the Group to make a craft item with parents and toddlers, work sheets are available of past items for your use.

It is advisable to dress your child in play clothes, as they can sometimes get quite messy, although, aprons are provided for craft activities. All materials used are child safe and non-toxic.
